The PULITROL is an efficient machine for electrolytic polishing and etching of every metal alloys. It consists of a power source, a polishing and etching cell with the electrolyte tank and an adjustable magnetic stirrer for adjusting the flow of electrolyte. Power source controls can be adjusted very easily: polishing/etching tension, current and time can be separately preset and are displayed on a digital readout. The PULITROL can polish and etch separately or automatically switches from polishing to etching if automatic process has been selected. The sample is placed in the polishing and etching cell over a plastic mask and pressed with the adjustable anode arm. Inside the tank there is a little quantity of the specific electrolyte for the metal alloy to be prepared. The right flow of electrolyte is obtained with the magnetic stirrer, while the temperature is controlled by a water cooling system that surrounds the electrolyte tank. All the parts of the machine are corrosion resistant.
